Problem in Zululand

Vicki Heymann had a problem living in Zululand, Natal, South Africa. She had to deal with the flood rains that would make it difficult for her truck lacking four wheel drive to take her children to their school bus stop. She lived high upon a mountain and when it rained it made it hard to keep her truck from getting stuck in the mud going down the incline of the slippery gravel road to the bus stop at the bottom of the mountain. Her husband couldn't take the children to their school bus stop because he went to work too early.
One day here spiritual eyes were opened. She found out about her authority in Christ. She learned in Genesis 1:26-28 that God gave man authority to rule the earth.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth" (Genesis 1:26).
But unfortunately, man sinned in the Garden of Eden and forfeited his authority over to his enemy, Satan.
"And the devil, taking him (Jesus) up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power (authority) will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will give it" (Luke 4:5,6).
The good news is that with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Satan was defeated and Jesus Christ restored back to man the authority originally belonging to him. God's people, His Church, now have authority in the earth.
So, with that understanding of her new found authority, Vicki walked out unto her veranda and commanded the rain to stop. But it didn't stop, but kept raining. She commanded the clouds to hold their water. "Nothing happened. It kept on raining!"
She did this for a number of days, praying and sliding down the road to the children's bus stop. Then the light went on. She realized she had been trying to get the rain to stop and not believing for it to stop. Trying God's Word is not the same as believing God's Word.
To go from trying to believing, she had to change her inner image that was more doubt than faith. She had to go to work on the inner image on the inside to get results on the outside.
She began spending time in the Bible, thinking, dwelling on, studying and speaking God's Word concerning her identity and true self-worth. This is called meditation of God's Word which brings revelation to your heart. As revelation came to her, she could feel her inner image change from "loser to winner." She grew "from religion to relationship." Then it happened, one morning when she went to speak to the rain to stop she knew that she knew that she knew the rain would stop. Without yelling or screaming, she calmly told the rain to stop. It did. Praise God!
Her authority was born out of a relationship with God and knowing who she was in Christ. Her image of God on the inside of her had been restored through daily meditating on God's Word and spending time praying and conversing with God.
Now it's your turn. Make the quality decision to daily spend time in prayer and conversation with God, meditating His Word to change your inner image from a "loser to a winner," created in the image of God with authority in the earth through Christ Jesus. Then one day you will speak in the name of Jesus to that "rain" and it will have to stop because of your revelation of the authority in His name and your revelation of your God-given authority.

Testimony: How Gary Got Free from a Poverty Mental Stronghold
Financial three step plans, money making formulas and sowing and reaping scriptures can all be well and good, but if you have a poverty stronghold lodged and hidden in your mind, you may never enter your wealthy place on earth. If you feel you might have a poverty mental stronghold and you want to be set free, then this article is for you.
Gary was a Christian who had been taught in church that it was good to worship and serve God, but to have an abundance of "things" was not acceptable. The "prosperity message" was taboo. However, he eventually discovered that according to God's Word, financial prosperity was the Christian's inheritance and we are blessed to be a blessing.
So Gary began to implement all the prosperity truths he had learned, but instead of getting out of debt and enjoying the abundant life, he continued to flounder financially and stayed in debt. Fortunately, one day the Lord revealed to him the problem. All the earlier teaching on how it was wrong to seek prosperity had become a poverty stronghold in his mind that kept him out of his God-ordained wealthy place. The Lord revealed to him how to destroy that stronghold with God's mighty powerful weapon, the Word of God.
"Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces" (Jeremiah 23:29)?
The Lord's instructions were simple. To destroy the stronghold of poverty in his mind, he was to speak three scriptures out loud four hours a day until they dropped down into his heart and became reality. This would set him free from the stronghold of poverty holding back his God-given prosperity. Here are the three prosperity scriptures the Lord instructed him to speak out loud:
"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing" (Psalm 34:10).
"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich" (2 Corinthians 8:9).
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
Am I saying you must spend four hours a day speaking out loud these promises to destroy any poverty stronghold you might have? No. How much time you spend a day declaring these prosperity promises is up to you. But I will say this, the more time you spend doing it, the quicker the results.
I suggest starting out with fifteen minutes a day and increase it to one half hour or more. Gary said that within three weeks he noticed a difference in his life and eventually he was free from the poverty stronghold that held him captive. He got a revelation that God was his source and not his job, not the government or anything else.
And by the way, this three scripture formula will work for any area of your life: healing, confidence, deliverance from some sinful bondage, weight-loss or whatever. Just find three scriptures that relate to your problem and away you go.
